• Make an altar and keep a Hawan Kund there. 
• After that, mix all the Hawan ingredients like black sesame, rice, barley, cow ghee, frankincense, guggal, camphor, Palash and fig bark, liquorice root, Ashwagandha, Brahmi, etc.
• Now sit on a mat and keep a handkerchief on your head.
• Place cow dung cakes and camphor at the bottom of the havan kund.
• Then, place dry wood of mango, sandalwood, neem, bael, and peepal. Then, light the havan fire with the help of camphor and uppal.
• After that, offer the havan material one by one while reciting the mantra.
• At the end, wrap the Raksha Sutra on the dry coconut. Place betel leaf, puri, kheer, sweets, fruits, betel nut, cloves, etc., on it.
