2. मल्लिनाथ जी – Mallinath Ji

1358 ई. में मारवाड़ के रावल सलखा एवं जाणीदे के ज्येष्ठ पुत्र के रूप में मल्लिनाथ जी ने अपनी पिता की मृत्यु के पश्चात कान्हडदे के यहाँ महेवा में शासन प्रबंधन की देखरेख की| इसके पश्चात अपने चाचा की मृत्यु के पश्चात 1374 ई. में मल्लिनाथ जी महेवा के स्वामी बन गए| सन 1378 ई. में फिरोज़ तुगलक के मालवा के सूबेदार निजामुद्दीन की सेना को मल्लिनाथ जी ने परस्त किया था|

योग साधना की सहायता से इन्होने सिद्ध पुरुष की पहचान प्राप्त की| मल्लिनाथ जी ने मारवाड़ क्षेत्र के सभी सन्तों को एकत्र करके 1399 ई. में वृहत् हरि-कीर्तन का आयोजन करवाया| इसी वर्ष में चैत्र शुक्ल की द्वितीय तिथि को इनका स्वर्गवास हो गया|

तिलवाड़ा (बाड़मेर) में लूनी नदी के तट पर मल्लिनाथ जी का मंदिर बना हुआ है| यहाँ प्रत्येक वर्ष चैत्र कृष्ण की एकादशी से चैत्र शुक्ल एकादशी तक एक बहुत ही विशाल पशु मेले का आयोजन होता है| मल्लिनाथ जी की आज भी मालानी (बाड़मेर) में बहुत अधिक मान्यता है|

3. वीर कल्ला जी राठौड़ – Veer Kalla Ji Rathor

राजस्थान के लोक देवताओं (Rajasthan Ke Lokdevta) में शामिल वीर कल्ला जी का जन्म 1544 ई. में मेड़ता के पास सामियाना गाँव में राव जयमल राठौड़ के छोटे भाई आससिंह के घर हुआ था| कल्ला जी अपनी बाल्यावस्था से ही अपनी कुलदेवी नागणेची माता की आराधना करने लग गए थे| मीरा इनकी बुआ थी| इन्हें अस्त्र-शस्त्र चलाने व औषधि विज्ञान में महानता प्राप्त थी|

जब 1562 ई. में अकबर में मेड़ता पर आक्रमण किया था, उसे समय कल्लाजी ने घायल जयमल को दोनों हाथों में तलवार देकर उन्हे अपने कंधे पर बैठा लिया तथा खुद भी दोनों हाथों में तलवार लेकर युद्ध करने लग गए| इन दोनों ने दुश्मन की सेना में तबाही मचा दी थी|

इस कारण से कल्ला जी चार हाथ एवं दो सिर वाले देवता के रूप में प्रसिद्ध हुए है| कल्ला जी को शेषावतार मानकर उनकी पूजा शेषनाग के रूप में भी की जाती है| वीर कल्ला जी के मारवाड़, बांसवाडा, मेवाड़ तथा मध्यप्रदेश में लगभग 500 मंदिर स्थित है| इन सभी मंदिरों के पुजारी सर्पदंश से पीड़ित लोगों का उपचार करते है|

अगर किसी वजह से आप नदी में स्नान नहीं कर सकते तो घर पर ही गंगाजल डालकर स्नान करें और स्वच्छ वस्त्र धारण करें|
इस दिन सफ़ेद रंग के वस्त्र को धारण करना शुभ माना जाता है|

हर महीने मे आने वाली पूर्णिमा का व्रत करने से भगवान विष्णु और मां लक्ष्मी की विशेष कृपा प्राप्त होती है। आश्विन महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष में जो शरद पूर्णिमा आती है। वह अत्यंत शुभ मानी जाती है| शरद पूर्णिमा वाले दिन बहुत से लोग दान करते है। इस दिन दान दक्षिणा करना शुभ माना जाता है। भगवान विष्णु और मां लक्ष्मी का आर्शीवाद प्राप्त करने के लिए एक साहूकार की दो बेटियां हर महीने पूर्णिमा का व्रत करती थी। बड़ी बेटी पूर्णिमा का व्रत पूरे विधान के साथ करती थी किन्तु छोटी बेटी पूर्णिमा का व्रत पूरे नियम से नही करती थी। जैसे ही दोनों बेटियां बड़ी हुई साहूकार ने उन दोनो की शादी करवा दी|

शादी के एक साल के बाद बड़ी बेटी के घर स्वस्थ संतान ने जन्म लिया तथा छोटी बेटी के घर संतान तो हुई लेकिन उसने जन्म लेते ही दम तोड दिया| छोटी बहन के साथ ऐसा कई बार हुआ फिर उसने अपनी कहानी एक ब्राह्मण को बताई ब्राह्मण ने उससे पूरी बात जानने के बाद उसे बताया कि तुमने पूर्णिमा का व्रत अधूरा किया है। इस कारण तुम्हे व्रत का फल नहीं मिल रहा है। यह तुम्हारे अधूरे व्रत का दोष है। ब्राह्मण की बात सुनकर उसने पूर्णिमा का व्रत पूरी सच्ची निष्ठा के साथ करने का निर्णय लिया और पूर्णिमा आने से पहले ही उसने एक पुत्र को जन्म दिया जन्म लेते ही उसकी मृत्यु हो गई।

इस बार उसने अपने बेटे के शव को एक पीढे से ढक दिया और उस पर एक कपड़ा डाल दिया ताकि किसी को पता नहीं चले फिर उसने अपनी बडी बहन को बुलाया और उसे बैठने को वही पीढा दिया।

बडी बहन जैसे ही पीढ़े पर बैठने लगी उसके लहंगे के स्पर्श से बच्चे की रोने की आवाज आई ये देखकर बड़ी बहन डर गई और छोटी बहन पर क्रोधित होकर बोली तुम मेरे पर बच्चे की हत्या का दोष और कलंक लगाना चाहती हो इस पर छोटी बहन ने उत्तर दिया यह बच्चा मरा हुआ था। तुम्हारे तप और स्पर्श के कारण ही यह जीवित हो गया है। पूर्णिमा के दिन जो तुम व्रत और तप किया करती हो उसके कारण तुम दिव्य तेज से परिपूर्ण और पवित्र हो गई हो। अब मै भी तुम्हारे तरह ही व्रत करूंगी फिर उसने भी पूर्णिमा का व्रत पूरे विधि विधान के साथ किया|
